JOB SUMMARY

Shepherd of the Valley Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking a Driver / Transportation CNA to safely, timely, and reliably transport residents to and from appointments and the center

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Maintain safe and courteous motor vehicle operation in compliance with applicable laws.
• Perform safe transfer of residents from bed to chair, chair to bed.
• Perform safe loading and unloading of residents to and from transport van.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safe operation of the vehicle.
• Report vehicle accidents, traffic citations, or incidents immediately and complete required reports.

EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE

• Required: Valid driver’s license and has an acceptable driving record
• Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant licensure.
