Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems in Westborough, MA is seeking a Driver for the Inpatient Admissions Office. This full-time role involves driving agency vehicles, transporting clients to treatment facilities, and ensuring safety and confidentiality in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 10:00am–6:30pm, with a 1st shift. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary, culturally diverse setting with clients, staff and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Drive agency vehicles to meet program needs.
• Transport clients to assigned treatment facilities for interviews, medical appointments, and other program/client related issues.
• Demonstrating honesty and integrity at all times in the care of the clients and the use of the facility property.
• Consistently arriving for work on time and adhering to the program's attendance policies.
• Strictly adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality policies when responding to inquiries for client information or copies of information.

The Driver is responsible for

• Driving agency vehicles to meet program needs
• Transporting clients to assigned treatment facilities for interviews, medical appointments, and other program/client related issues
• Demonstrating respect for supervisors, co-workers, and clients
• Working with the Facility Coordinator regarding preventive maintenance for Campus vehicles
• Conducting daily safety checks and appropriate documentation before driving Campus vehicles
• Demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities and completing duties in the allotted time
• Responding to all life safety maintenance issues in a timely fashion
• Following all organizational and regulatory guidelines regarding the use of agency vehicles and transporting clients
• Demonstrating honesty and integrity at all times in the care of the clients and the use of the facility property
• Consistently arriving for work on time and adhering to the program's attendance policies
• Strictly adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality policies when responding to inquiries for client information or copies of information
