Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems in Lowell, MA is hiring a full-time Driver for the Inpatient ATS Program. The role focuses on safely operating agency vehicles to support treatment services and transport clients to interviews, medical appointments, and other program needs.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health field preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Drive agency vehicles to meet program needs.
• Transport clients to treatment facilities for interviews, medical appointments, and other program related issues.
• Demonstrate respect for supervisors, co-workers, and clients.
• Coordinate with Facility Coordinator regarding preventive maintenance for Campus vehicles.
• Conduct daily safety checks and document before driving Campus vehicles.
• Prioritize tasks and complete duties in the allotted time.
• Respond to all life safety maintenance issues in a timely fashion.
• Follow all organizational and regulatory guidelines regarding the use of agency vehicles and transporting clients.

The Driver is responsible for:

• Driving agency vehicles to meet program needs
• Transporting clients to assigned treatment facilities for interviews, medical appointments, and other program/client related issues
• Demonstrating respect for supervisors, co-workers, and clients
• Working with the Facility Coordinator regarding preventive maintenance for Campus vehicles
