Job description

Pay Rate: $29.35 per hour

Position Overview

This position involves driving a tractor/trailer truck to make local and regional deliveries (up to a 275-mile radius) of finished products or raw materials/supplies to company distribution and manufacturing centers. The driver must obtain proper authorization for all deliveries and pick-ups, inspect the vehicle for safety before and after trips, and maintain a DOT driver's log adhering to all DOT regulations.

Physical Requirements

The role requires handling tractor/trailer components, including bending, cranking landing gear, climbing in and out of cabs, and sitting for extended periods. This is a no-touch freight position, and drivers will be home daily.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Deliver finished products or raw materials to designated destinations.
2. Ensure the safety and compliance of the load.
3. Maintain DOT driver logs and other required transportation documentation.
4. Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
5. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
