Job summary

Amazon is seeking self-motivated Driver Trainers to build a network of Delivery Associates in the communities we serve. The role involves mentoring, leading large group training, and hands-on drive-alongs to instill safe practices.

Training lasts 5+ weeks at a site away from the home station, with travel arrangements provided by Amazon. Candidates must be 21+, hold a valid driver’s license, and be able to work 40 hours per week with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• High school or equivalent.
• Flexibility in schedule including weekends/nights/holidays.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours.
• Must be 21+ and eligible to drive with DOT requirements.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily training classes for up to 30 people, including in-station classes and drive-alongs.
• Coordinate with DSPs, Operations Managers, Area Managers, and Learning Teams to schedule and measure training activities.
• Educate and audit driver safety and compliance standards and reporting.
• Drive, maneuver, and load/unload a truck as scheduled using approved equipment.
