Job summary

G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. is hiring a Driver Trainee to support the sales team and provide coverage across positions. You will learn to deliver, stock, rotate, display products at customer sites and build strong relationships with retailers and Pepsi teams.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, 6–12 months sales experience, and a valid Class A CDL; employees must be insurable. Schedule is 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts, starting at 5am with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of sales experience with a consumer product line and customer relations experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License; employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Delivers, stocks, rotates, displays, and maintains products at customer locations according to established standards.
• Builds positive relationships with customers, consumers, Territory Account Managers, Territory Delivery Managers, and internal Pepsi teams.
• Invoices customers and collects payment.
• Handles, stocks, and organizes alcoholic products.
• Communicates effectively with retailers, Pepsi management, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Follows company policies, safety requirements, AIB and Pepsi standards, and applicable laws; wears required PPE.
• Maintains customer inventory by delivering appropriate product quantities between scheduled deliveries.
• Completes required paperwork, including DOT logs, and protects confidential pricing, promotion, and customer information.
• Works assigned schedule, maintains regular attendance, works overtime as needed, and performs other duties as assigned.
