Admiral Beverage Corporation in Rapid City, SD seeks a Delivery Driver Trainee who trains to deliver on an established local route with a certified trainer. The role aims to advance to a Class A Delivery Driver after completing the CDL training program.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a CDL permit and medical card. You will drive on highway, rural, and city streets, log deliveries, and maintain equipment under supervision, with company benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Experience driving routes and communicating issues to supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck on established route to deliver beverage products to customer sites.
• Record deliveries, sales, buy backs and variances on daily delivery records.
• Operate inventory and invoicing system to record stops and any errors.
• Load and unload loads, secure loads, and collect customer signatures on receipts.
• Inspect and maintain the truck; use hand trucks/pallet jacks as required.
• Assemble display aids from POS materials and adhere to safety procedures.

Job description

Delivery Driver Trainee - ALC:

The Delivery Driver Trainee, trains to deliver on an established route with a certified trainer to deliver and merchandise products by performing the following duties with the goal to become a Class A Delivery Driver. Must complete all required tasks in the CDL training program to become a local delivery driver.

Job Description Primary Location: Rapid City, South Dakota

Must have a Valid Drivers License and be able to obtain CDL Permit and Medical Card.

Drives truck over established route to deliver products by performing the following duties. Drives truck to deliver beverage product to customer's place of business on highway, rural, and city street conditions in compliance with federal and state regulations. Works without direct supervision to deliver all products for established routes. Effectively communicates issues and customer concerns to supervisor. Records sales, buy back, delivery and variance information on daily sales or delivery record. Operates computerized inventory and invoicing system to accurately record stops, deliveries, and any errors on the route. Operates hand trucks and electric pallet jacks. Collects or picks up empty containers or rejected or unsold merchandise. Conducts and/or supervises truck loading and unloading and secures loads. Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery. Performs daily inspection and routine fluid, air, and oil maintenance on truck and maintains clean vehicle. Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials. Wears Company provided uniform and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and standards and procedures. Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
