Job summary

Cox Automotive Canada is seeking a shuttle/driver coordinator in Grove City, OH. You will orient new drivers, manage vehicle transport, and ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs across multiple sites.

The role requires a valid driver's license and HS diploma/GED with related experience or equivalent certifications. Expect outdoor work conditions and potential overtime as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' related field experience or equivalent combination with other degrees/certifications
• Alternative: any level degree/certification beyond HS Diploma/GED or 5 years' related experience
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers on duties and assist supervisor in directing work
• Maintain log of stock numbers for each vehicle and its lot location; ensure proper vehicle flow
• Communicate schedules and assignments to crew members
• Transport drivers and vehicles to locations; ensure timely pick-up/drop-off according to schedule
• Shuttle employees to parking lots on sale days and to remote sites as needed
• Pick-up and drop-off employees and other Auction personnel to/from the Auction, parking lots, dealerships, customer locations, etc.
• Perform daily maintenance and checks of the van; refuel and service as needed
• Model safety behaviors; cooperate with Market Safety Manager on safety activities
• Review work volumes with manager; monitor staffing to ensure efficiency and quality service
• Lead the team at the location; enforce company policies and respect among employees
• May work overtime as required by business needs
