Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a dedicated Shuttle Driver in Grove City, OH to support daily operations by transporting employees and vehicles safely and on schedule. You will orient drivers, coordinate with supervisors, and assist in managing routing and log maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant experience or an equivalent combination, and a valid driver’s license. Overtime may be required as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of related work experience, OR any degree or certification above a High School Diploma/GED plus 1 year of related work experience, OR 5 years of related work experience.
• Safe driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Orient and instruct new drivers regarding their job duties and assist supervisor in assigning and directing the work of employees.
• Communicate with supervisor or manager to assure proper flow of vehicles and maintain log of stock numbers for each vehicle moved and its lot location.
• Communicate schedules and assignments to the crew members.
• Manage vans and transport drivers to locations, ensuring timely pick-up and drop-off.
• Shuttle employees to and from auxiliary parking lots on sale days and transport vehicles to remote sites.
• Pick-up and drop-off employees and other Auction personnel to/from the Auction and other locations.
• Perform daily maintenance and routine checks of the van and service the vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Support safety initiatives and cooperate with Market Safety Manager.
• Lead the team at the location, model Cox/Manheim values, and ensure respectful conduct.
• Enforce company policies and perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
