Job summary

The Enterprise Mobility brand is seeking a Driver in Stamford, CT to deliver vehicles and assist customers with safe, courteous service. This role starts at $17.19 per hour with opportunities for merit increases based on performance.

Responsibilities include local driving, route planning, ensuring accurate vehicle paperwork, and coordinating with other drivers as needed. You must have a valid driver’s license, be 18+, and be able to read and understand English.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid, unrestricted U.S. driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Living within a 1-hour commute of Stamford, CT.
• At least 6 consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver vehicles locally or as needed, following all traffic rules.
• Deliver customers and vehicles to the appropriate destination safely and courteously.
• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
• Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely.
• Possibly communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

This pay for this position starts at $17.19 / hour. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance.

Responsibilities

The Driver is responsible for the transporting of fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, as well as navigating written directions.

• Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles

• May need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone
• May be asked to clean vehicles
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

• The ability to operate a motor vehicle is an essential function of this position. Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license

• Must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from this location
