Job summary

Wexford Place, Inc. in Davenport, IA is hiring a Full-Time Shuttle Driver to safely transport residents to appointments, outings, and events while delivering a welcoming, compassionate experience.

You will perform routine vehicle safety checks, assist residents on and off the vehicle, and partner with maintenance as needed. Weekend shifts are required; starting pay is $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a safe driving record.
• DOT certification (or ability to obtain).
• No CDL required.
• Ability to pass a drug screening.
• Friendly, dependable, and service-minded attitude.
• Enjoys working with older adults and building relationships.
• Team player willing to help wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping trips, community outings, and events.
• Deliver Legendary Hospitality by creating a warm, welcoming, and engaging experience for every resident and guest.
• Assist residents as they enter and exit the vehicle with patience, kindness, and professionalism.
• Perform routine vehicle safety inspections and help keep community vehicles clean and well maintained.
• Partner with the Maintenance team during slower periods by assisting with general maintenance and community projects.
• Be a positive ambassador for Senior Star and help create a Top in Class experience for residents and families every day.
