Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver Visitor Screening in Omaha, NE. This full-time position involves managing access, patrolling facility areas, and delivering strong customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, high school diploma, and background screening; CPR certification is a plus. Work hours are day shifts with a rotating weekend schedule at a technology/telecom site.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned technology, media, and telecommunications facility areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding access concerns, policy violations, and incidents requiring follow-up.
