Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield, KY, where our staff provide quality services to our local youth.

You will be responsible for the academic and career technical trade instruction per approved curricula. They will provide training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their academic and trade goals, while maintaining safety and order in instructional activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• An endorsement in driver’s education or obtain a defensive driving course required
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be responsible for the academic and career technical trade instruction per approved curricula.
• They will provide training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their academic and trade goals.
• Process and categorize students’ driver’s education applications.
• Prepare students for written examination through lectures, worksheets and discussions.
• Evaluate student’s performance and determine readiness to complete the final written and driving instruction.
• Support career development services system by helping students acquire a new skill to become more employable.
• Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students; prepare related reports.
• Adhere to student’s schedule of activities and events.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area that models high standards for a work environment.
