Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center in Morganfield, KY, seeking a dedicated transportation staff member.

You will keep vehicles clean and ready and operate them to transport passengers and materials per government and management directives. • A valid commercial (bus driver) Class B driver license with passenger endorsement in the state where the facility is located (or ability to obtain it within 150 days of employment) with an acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Operate light truck, buses and passenger vehicles; transport passengers and/or packages; ensure adherence to established schedules.
• Maintain vehicles for routine services, clean vehicles, check fluid levels and reports.
• Perform routine vehicle equipment inspection daily, including lights, brakes, mirrors, steering, and other required operating equipment; recommend mechanical repairs as needed.
• Promote and support the center wide development of the Career Development Services System (CDSS) plan.
• Participate and promote student employability programs and activities.
