Job summary

Crown Roofing & Waterproofing in Sarasota, FL is seeking a dependable Driver / Runner to support its Roofing Service Department. This full-time, non-exempt role moves materials and tools between job sites and warehouses, while maintaining logs and ensuring crews have what they need throughout the day.

No roofing experience is required; training will be provided. Ideal for active, team-minded individuals who enjoy driving and staying organized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Pass a background check and drug screening.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Dependable, professional and team-oriented.
• Experience driving trucks or work vehicles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver roofing materials, tools and equipment to job sites in Sarasota and surrounding areas.
• Pick up supplies from vendors, warehouses and suppliers.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials.
• Maintain delivery logs, receipts and related documentation.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Help organize and maintain warehouse and storage areas.
• Support service crews with general operational and logistical needs.
• Follow all safety policies and traffic laws.
