Job Title: Route Driver

Pay Rate: $20.09/hr, Daylight Shift, 4-Day Work Week, No Weekends, Great Benefits!

Position Purpose:

The Shred-it Route Driver provides industry-leading document destruction services to clients, ensuring safe transportation and secure handling of confidential materials, in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Key Job Activities:

1. Perform onsite and offsite document destruction of confidential information.
2. Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle checks and report maintenance issues.
3. Operate company equipment safely and efficiently, complying with all laws.
4. Complete and maintain DOT logs as applicable.
5. Securely handle and lock consoles and collection totes during service.
6. Use handheld devices to service accounts, ensuring data accuracy.
7. Manage routes to ensure timely and accurate collection of confidential materials.
8. Address customer inquiries and problems promptly, maintaining high service standards.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of driving experience, preferably with shred/box trucks and route management.
• Valid driver’s license (Class D or above) with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for communication and reporting.
• May require immunizations and credentials based on client requirements.
