Walters Recycling & Refuse is actively hiring for Residential CDL Drivers in Blaine, MN. Starting wages range from $26.00 to $35.53 per hour, with a stay-on bonus of up to $10,000. About the role:

As a CDL Truck Driver, you will safelyoperatevehicles and mechanized devices while following established routes in residentialareas(Truck types:side load, roll-off, rear-load, cart delivery box trucks, mobile cart washing, and fork trucks).

This position is Safety Sensitive. It requires drug and alcohol testing in compliance with 49 CFR part382,this includes marijuana. This position also requires an active DOT health card. To get a DOT health card, candidates must have a valid MinnesotaDriversLicense.

Responsibilities:

• Safelyoperategarbage trucks in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working condition, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
• Drive assigned routes to pick up waste and recycling according to schedule.
• Secure all loads to prevent spillage, and ensure proper unloading at designated waste facilities, landfills, or recycling centers.
• Complete route sheets, vehicle condition reports and other necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
• Provide courteous and respectful service to customers, address basic inquiriesor direct them to customer service if needed.
• Communicate with dispatch and other team members about route changes, delays, breakdowns, or emergencies.
• Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and internal company policies including hours of service, drug/alcohol testing, and electronic logging requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Class A or B CDL License
• No air brake restrictions
• Clean Driving Record
• Mapping Skills
• 18 years of age or older & eligible to work in the US.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability tolift upto 50lbsfrequentlyand up to 100lbsoccasionally, bending, twisting, repetitive motion, and sitting forlong periodsof time
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT health evaluation, and physical assessment.
