A Warren, MI-based transportation organization is hiring a Driver Recruiter to recruit CDL drivers, dock workers, and support personnel. No prior recruiting experience is required; training provided.

This high-volume, fast-paced role offers direct impact on hiring results and earning potential. You will manage full-cycle recruiting, source candidates, screen applicants, conduct phone interviews, and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Human Resources, Logistics, Communications, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable making a high volume of phone calls daily.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
• Strong follow-up skills and professional communication.
• Competitive, goal-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for CDL drivers, dock workers, and support positions.
• Source candidates through job boards, recruiting databases, and outbound calls.
• Conduct applicant screening and phone interviews.
• Make approximately 30-50 outbound calls and handle 15-20 inbound calls daily.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline.
• Follow up consistently with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Track candidate activity and recruiting progress in ATS and HR systems.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to support staffing needs.
• Meet and exceed recruiting activity, hiring, and performance goals.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure timely communication.
