Role Description The Driver Recruiter is a full-time, on-site role based in Searcy, AR, responsible for attracting, screening, and hiring qualified professional drivers to meet operational needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing candidates through multiple channels, conducting interviews, verifying qualifications, and ensuring compliance with DOT and company hiring standards. The role involves managing the onboarding process, coordinating with safety and operations teams, and supporting driver orientation to promote retention and positive engagement. The Driver Recruiter also maintains accurate records, tracks recruitment metrics, and provides clear communication to drivers and internal stakeholders. This position plays a key role in representing Bowerman Trucking, Inc.’s values and service standards to current and prospective drivers.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT Regulations and compliance requirements related to driver qualification and safety.
• Candidates should possess Hiring and interviewing skills, including experience sourcing, screening, and selecting professional drivers.
• Candidates should possess Driver Retention skills, with the ability to build relationships and support a positive driver experience.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with drivers, internal teams, and external partners.
• Relevant experience in transportation, trucking, or logistics recruiting is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Searcy, AR, manage multiple priorities, and maintain organized, accurate documentation.
• Proficiency with applicant tracking software Tenstreet, basic computer applications, and data entry is beneficial.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in human resources, business, or a related field is a plus.
