Job summary

NAPA Transportation, Inc. is seeking a Driver Recruiter to proactively source and engage Company Drivers and Independent Contractors aligned with our values. You will build relationships, maintain a strong candidate pipeline, and ensure DOT compliance from application to onboarding.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience required.
• High-volume or driver recruiting preferred.
• Passionate about building meaningful relationships with drivers and understanding their goals.
• Ability to work in an office setting and participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Proactively source qualified drivers through cold calling, job boards, ATS, career fairs, networking, and social media.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of driver candidates aligned with hiring needs.
• Maintain constant communication with driver candidates, providing status updates during the hiring process.
• Review applications and conduct phone interviews to prequalify drivers.
• Ensure drivers meet hiring guidelines and DOT requirements.
• Complete and verify onboarding requirements including background checks, MVRs, DAC reports, and verifications.
• Schedule approved drivers for orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Maintain accurate driver records in the ATS system.
• Consistently achieve or exceed weekly and monthly recruiting goals.

The Driver Recruiter is responsible for proactively sourcing and engaging Company Drivers and Independent Contractors who align with NAPA's values and hiring standards. • Proactive, self-motivated and detail oriented, with a strong sense of ownership throughout the recruitment process.
• Ability to work in office setting & participate in an on -call rotation.
