Job summary

EPES Transport, a Penske Logistics company, seeks a driver recruiting specialist to manage inbound/outbound calls, pre-qualify candidates, and maintain ATS data. You will stay current on FMCSA regulations, partner with operations, and drive hiring decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Based in Greensboro, NC (or Charlotte, NC or Reading, PA), you will interact with leadership to meet hiring goals and ensure a professional impression of the company to drivers.

Qualifications

• 1 year of recruiting experience is required.
• 1 year of transportation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the Fair Credit Report process required.
• Experience managing candidates & requisitions in an ATS required.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations required.
• Excellent documentation skills are required.
• Strong communication and phone skills are essential.
• Sales oriented mindset in candidate engagement.
• Ability to collaborate with operational leadership.
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize multiple requirements.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with defined metrics.
• Willingness to travel, work at required locations, and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound driver recruiting calls, leads and inquiries; update ATS.
• Pre-qualify driver candidates before submission to processing; review reports and Tenstreet entries.
• Maintain knowledge of FMCSA regulations and company hiring guidelines.
• Maintain contact with pre-screened drivers up to hire.
• Contribute to other projects as assigned.

Position Summary

This position is for EPES Transport, LLC., a division of Penske Logistics, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. In this role you will serve as the first impression of EPES Transport to potential driver candidates. You will be attracting quality candidates and will be responsible for participating in hiring decisions and using good judgement to assess whether or not a candidate meets company requirements. It is essential to maintain a knowledgeable, professional presentation to drivers of the Company’s qualifications and operations. This position can be based in Greensboro, NC or Charlotte, NC or Reading, PA.

Schedule

Onsite, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM

Responsibilities

• Responsible for inbound and outbound driver recruiting calls, leads and inquiries. Screens, interviews and pre-qualifies all telephone inquiries, and update the ATS
• Pre-Qualify Driver candidates prior to submitting to processing. This includes running and reviewing all applicable reports, updating application / Tenstreet as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of FMCSA regulations, Company hiring guidelines and practices, ATS functionality and obtaining & analyzing consumer reports.
• Maintain contact with pre-screened drivers up to date of hire.
• Other projects as assigned

Qualifications
