TaskUs USA LLC is seeking a reliable Driver - Data Collection onsite in San Jose, CA to gather real-world mapping data for autonomous vehicle and spatial mapping tech. You will operate fleet vehicles on a rideshare platform, ensuring data collection systems run continuously and accurately along routes.

The role requires a valid US driver’s license, at least 3 years driving experience, comfort with onboard tech, and a strong customer-service orientation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Comfort with touchscreen interfaces and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong customer-service mindset and professional demeanor.
• Ability to adapt to diverse traffic conditions and weather.

Responsibilities

• Passenger Operations: accept, navigate, and complete rides via rideshare app with safety and professionalism.
• Data System Management: ensure LiDAR, cameras and data loggers are powered, calibrated and recording.
• Pre/Post-Trip Checks: inspect sensor mounts and recording hardware before/after shifts.
• System Monitoring & Escalation: monitor status displays and report issues to the operations team.
• Safety & Compliance: follow local laws and company safety guidelines at all times.
