Job Summary

ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility is to safely operate the concrete mixer, delivering loads to commercial and residential sites. This involves navigating various conditions, including uneven terrain, and handling extension chutes weighing between thirty to fifty pounds.

Job Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO

• Safety & Compliance: Follow all regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Delivery & Timing: Ensure timely and safe delivery of concrete loads.
• Discharge Management: Adjust discharge methods based on site conditions.
• Extension Chute Handling: Attach and manage extension chutes for precise pouring.
• Truck Maintenance: Keep the truck clean and mechanically sound.
• Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service.
• Team Coordination: Work with dispatch and team members for efficient operations.

Qualifications

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Valid CDL A or B license; High School diploma preferred; compliant with FMCSA regulations.
• Proficient in English; clean CSA and MVR record; no recent DUI/DWI; limited moving violations.
• Knowledge of safety protocols, traffic routes, and basic truck maintenance is desirable.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

• Adherence to safety protocols and wearing protective equipment.
• Work in diverse outdoor environments with varying conditions.
• Frequent walking, sitting, lifting (up to 50 pounds), pushing, pulling, and climbing.
