ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility is to safely operate the concrete mixer and deliver loads to commercial and residential sites. The role involves navigating various conditions, including uneven terrain, and handling extension chutes weighing 30-50 pounds.

Job Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO

• Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and promote a safe work environment.
• Delivery & Timing: Ensure timely and safe delivery of concrete loads.
• Discharge Management: Adjust discharge methods based on site conditions.
• Extension Chute Handling: Attach and manage extension chutes for concrete pouring.
• Truck Maintenance: Keep the truck clean and in good working order.
• Customer Service: Provide professional service and maintain a positive image.
• Team Coordination: Work with dispatch and team members for efficient operations.

Qualifications

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Educational and Licensing: Valid CDL A or B license; high school diploma preferred; must qualify under FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Skills: Proficient in English; clean CSA and MVR records; no recent DUI/DWI; up to 3 moving violations in 3 years; safety knowledge; good communication; basic truck maintenance skills (desirable).
