Job Summary

ABOUT THE JOB

We’re looking for a responsible and skilled Ready-Mix Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Ready-Mix Truck Driver is to operate the concrete mixer safely, delivering loads to commercial and residential sites. This role involves navigating various conditions, including uneven terrain, and may require handling and attaching extension chutes weighing between thirty to fifty pounds.

Job Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO

As a Ready-Mix Driver at Cemex, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safe working environment.
• Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of concrete loads to job sites.
• Adapting discharge methods to various site settings and conditions.
• Attaching and managing extension chutes for precise concrete pouring.
• Maintaining truck cleanliness and mechanical soundness.
• Providing outstanding customer service and maintaining a professional image.
• Coordinating with dispatch and team members for efficient operations.

Qualifications

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To Succeed In This Role, You Should Bring

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B). High School diploma preferred. Must qualify as not prohibited in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking). Clean CSA and MVR record; no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years; no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years. Strong safety knowledge, good communication skills, and basic truck maintenance knowledge are desirable.
