Job summary

Eckart, LLC in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Driver/Warehouse associate to safely receive, pick, and ship materials and to keep inventories accurate.

You will operate a forklift, cooperate with inventory, production, and purchasing teams, and maintain a clean, organized warehouse while meeting deadlines.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification is a plus, and a clean driving record is required for insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse experience desirable.
• Knowledge of or previous experience in the Plumbing/Electrical industry an asset.
• Current Forklift Certification desirable.
• Experience using computer systems.
• Must have clean driving record to be put on insurance.
• Must have or be able to obtain a drive for hire endorsement.
• Final candidates will be required to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Accurately receive material and/or pick and ship orders.
• Ensure all paperwork completed properly and documents maintained for shipping purposes.
• Organize product efficiently and maintain inventories.
• Pull products from yard and warehouse as required.
• Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties.
• General warehouse duties and maintenance as needed.
• Restock materials as and when required.
• Coordinate communications with Inventory, Operations (Production), Purchasing, Scheduling, Accounting, and Program Management.
• Other duties as required
