Job summary

The Meadows Psychiatric Center, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a PRN/Per Diem Patient Transporter to move patients for admissions, discharges, and appointments. You will keep vehicles clean and report maintenance needs, supporting a safe, well-running transport program.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or Equivalent and a valid PA driver’s license, with preference for 1+ year of passenger transport experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid PA driver's license and clean driving record.
• One (1) or more years experience transporting passengers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients for admission, discharge, or to appointments.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance needs.

Patient Transporter Opportunity

This opportunity is PRN/Per Diem. Primary responsibility is the transportation of patients for admission, discharge, or to appointments. May also entail transporting miscellaneous items as scheduled and coordinated with Assessment and Referral Center Director. The Transporter is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe vehicle and reporting any necessary maintenance required.

The Meadows Psychiatric Center, is a 119- bed behavioral health treatment facility located in Central Pennsylvania. We are located a short distance outside State College, PA.
