Monarch Communities in Paramus, NJ is seeking a friendly driver to transport residents to doctor appointments, recreational outings, shopping trips, and scenic drives.

This part-time position offers 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule. A clean driving record and CDL are required, along with 1–2 years of experience serving the elderly; a high school diploma or higher is preferred, and the role requires assisting residents entering and exiting the vehicle.

Job Description

We are an assisted living community looking for a friendly and cheerful person who will be driving residents to and from doctor appointments, recreational outings, shopping excursions, and scenic drives.

Schedule: 20 hours per week - flexible

Salary: $18.50-$19.00 hourly

Qualifications

Clean Driver's license record and have a CDL.

Ability to assist residents on and off vehicle.

One to two years related experience working with the elderly.

High school diploma or higher education preferred.

Additional Information

Physical Abilities:

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50lbs. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
