Monarch Communities, an assisted living community in New York, seeks a friendly driver to transport residents to doctor appointments, outings, shopping trips, and scenic drives, ensuring safety and comfort.

The position is part-time, 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule (Mon, Wed, Fri 9a–5p). A clean CDL and driving record are required, plus 1–2 years of experience with the elderly.

Formación

• Clean driver's license record and a CDL.
• Ability to assist residents on and off vehicle.
• One to two years related experience working with the elderly.
• High school diploma or higher education preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Drive residents to doctor appointments, outings, shopping trips, and scenic drives.
• Maintain a 20-hour weekly schedule with Mon/Wed/Fri 9am–5pm.
• Assist residents getting in and out of the vehicle.
• Ensure safety and provide friendly, cheerful service.

Job Description

We are an assisted living community looking for a friendly and cheerful person who will be driving residents to and from doctor appointments, recreational outings, shopping excursions, and scenic drives.

Schedule: 20 hours per week - flexible (Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9a-5p)

Salary: $18.50-$19.00 hourly

Qualifications

Clean Driver's license record and have a CDL.

Ability to assist residents on and off vehicle.

One to two years related experience working with the elderly.

High school diploma or higher education preferred.

Additional Information

Physical Abilities:

• While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.


• An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50lbs. The associate must use proper body mechanics.
