Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license with clean record; Chauffeur’s license as required by state law.
• At least 1 year of courier/driver or direct customer interaction experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 200 pounds.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Drive company-owned vehicles to transport bereaved family members to funeral services, visitations, and receptions and during funeral processions.
• Be punctual and assist passengers with exiting/entering vehicles; interact courteously and professionally with families.
• Load/unload family mementos or flowers; assist with bringing items into residences.
• Transport and deliver caskets to airports, care centers, or cemeteries; assist with moving caskets as needed.
• Courier documents, family mementos, or flowers to and from the funeral home.
