Job summary

Service Corporation International is seeking part-time transportation associates in Kansas City, MO area to safely drive company vehicles and accompany bereaved families to funeral services and visitations. The role requires courteous service, physical stamina, and flexible hours including weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities include transporting caskets, delivering memos/flowers, loading/unloading items, and keeping vehicles clean and fueled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Chauffeur’s license as required by state law.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• At least 1 year of courier/driver experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive company-owned vehicles to transport bereaved family members to services, visitations, and receptions.
• Transport caskets to airports, care centers, or cemeteries.
• Courteously interact with bereaved families and assist passengers in and out of vehicles.
• Load/unload family mementos or flowers and assist with bringing into residences.
• Deliver documents, flowers, or mementos between funeral home and residences.
• Washes, vacuums, and cleans vehicles; fuel as needed; follow safety guidelines.

Maintains company vehicles.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDrive company-owned professional vehicles safely to transport bereaved family members to funeral services, visitations, and receptions as well as during funeral processions.
