Job summary

UW Health is seeking a Driver for a part-time, 30% FTE position in Madison, WI. The driver will transport physicians between UW Health locations, maintain professionalism, and ensure vehicle safety during trips.

Hours are Monday through Friday, with day/evening shifts and are dependent on provider schedules and driver availability. High School diploma preferred; 21+ with driving experience is required for certain vehicle types.

Driver

We are seeking a Driver to:

• Operate a UW Health vehicle to primarily pick up and transport our UW Health physicians to and from our UW Health and non-UW Health locations.
• Demonstrate professionalism and excellent communication when interacting with physicians and external customers.
• Perform vehicle safety inspections and monitor the vehicle's oil and fuel levels.
• Follow proper procedures and safety precautions while operating a motor vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent (Preferred)

Work Experience

• Experience in delivery setting involving multiple locations (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• Must possess a current, valid driver's license issued by the individual's state of residence. Must be at least 21 years old or have a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience to operate a Personal Vehicle, Patient/Visitor Vehicle, or standard UW Health Fleet Vehicle (Required)
