Job summary

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a dependable general backup to the Applicators in Indiana. The role supports range of tasks including maintenance, product receiving/delivery, grounds upkeep, and equipment compliance. CDL preferred with Ag CDL ability to obtain; Hazmat a plus. Expect in fast-paced environment with high energy and accuracy.

You will assist with inventory, housekeeping, and safety while collaborating with location management to ensure smooth operations during busy seasons.

Qualifications

• CDL class A or B preferred or Ag CDL ability to obtain
• Strong verbal and written communications

• Hazmat endorsement a plus; agriculture knowledge is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Assist with outbound and inbound agronomy products and equipment

• Maintain facility grounds and perform housekeeping duties
• Prepare and maintain records per regulations and company procedures

Job DescriptionPosition Overview: The purpose of this position is to act as a general backup to the Applicators. This role will engage in a range of responsibilities including general lot maintenance, receiving and delivering product, grounds maintenance and equipment compliance.Duties and Responsibilities:Include but are not limited toAssist with outbound and inbound Agronomy productsOperate tender trucks/semi's/straight trucks to provide product to custom application equipmentEnsure safety complianceAssist in equipment maintenanceAssist in housekeeping and maintenance of facility grounds including mowing, spraying weeds, and moving snowCommunicate daily activities, needs and accomplishments to the location managerPrepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company proceduresMay assist in measuring inventory of dry fertilizer, NH3, UAN, and other chemicalsServe as a backup to ApplicatorsSkills and Qualifications:Class A or B CDL preferred, or ability to obtain Ag CDLStrong verbal and written communications skillsExcellent time management, prioritization, and judgment skillsPossess a positive attitude, high energy, and focused attention to detailMust have a high sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong customer service and team player attitudeAbility to work extended hours during busy seasonsTerritory and agriculture knowledge is a plusHazmat endorsement a plusAcceptable driving historyPhysical Requirements:Bending and climbing in and out of the truckLift 40+lbs unassisted
