Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required or offset by experience.
  • CDL Class A or B preferred, or Ag CDL with endorsements.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Overtime may be required during peak season.
  • Strong communication, teamwork and customer-service orientation.
  • Capable of lifting over 50 pounds and performing physical tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Operate Class A, B or Ag CDL vehicle to deliver agronomy products safely.
  • Assist outbound and inbound agronomy products and inventory checks.
  • Ensure safety compliance and housekeeping of the facility grounds.
  • Assist in equipment maintenance and routine upkeep.
  • Record-keeping in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
  • May serve as a backup to Applicators and collaborate across units.

Job DescriptionPosition Overview: The purpose of this position is to operate a Class A, B, or Ag CDL vehicle to safely deliver products to customers while serving as a backup to Applicators as needed. This role supports overall operations through product receiving and delivery, lot and grounds maintenance, equipment compliance, and other duties that contribute to the efficient operation of the facility.Duties and Responsibilities:Include but are not limited toAssist with outbound and inbound Agronomy products.Ensure safety compliance.Assist in equipment maintenance.Assist in housekeeping and maintenance of facility grounds.Communicate daily activities, needs and accomplishments to management.Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.May assist in measuring inventory of dry fertilizer, NH3, UAN, and other chemicals.May serve as a backup to Applicators.Provide support across multiple business units, fostering collaboration, aligning priorities, and driving consistent execution of organizational objectives.Skills and Qualifications:Prior ag experience a plusRequired overtime as the season demandsBasic mechanical skills for daily maintenance of equipment preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management, prioritization, and judgement skillsPossess a positive attitude, high energy, and focused attention to detailMust have a high sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong customer service and team player attitudeTerritory knowledge a plusEducation and Experience:High School graduate or GED; may be offset by experience.Must hold one of the following: Class A or B CDL preferred, or Ag CDL, with required endorsements.Valid driver’s license; must be able to meet a Motor Vehicle Review in accordance with Company policy.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee needs to stay in good physical condition to regularly lift more than 50 pounds, climb ladders, perform preventive maintenance activities, and perform other physical duties necessary in running an agricultural location.
