Douglas County School District is seeking a Driver - Non CDL - Transportation to transport students in 14-passenger vehicles and support district activities. This role emphasizes safe driving, community relations, and modeling positive behavior while following the School Bus Operator’s Handbook and state laws.
Responsibilities include pre/post route inspections, monitoring student ridership including special education students, coordinating with dispatch, and maintaining conduct and safety.
Driver - Non CDL - Transportation
Responsible for the transportation of students to and from schools and various other District activities in vehicles with a capacity of 14 passengers or less. This position is a driving position that does not require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school. Is a positive role model by modeling desirable behaviors— e.g. good attendance, patience, tolerance, and safe driving skills.
REQUIRED: Initial drug screen upon hire; participation in a random drug and alcohol screening program.
