Douglas County School District is hiring a Bus Driver to transport students to and from schools and district activities. You will be responsible for pre/post ride checks, safety inspections, and maintaining student conduct for safe transportation.
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a Colorado CDL, First Aid/CPR, and the ability to drive any district bus type. Schedule includes 35 hours weekly, with benefits and retirement options available.

Bus Driver
Responsible for the transportation of students to and from schools and in various other District activities. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community members and school clientele.
Pass annual pre and post ride checks and with required paperwork.
Pass annual CDE test.
Perform daily pre and post route safety inspections on assigned vehicle. Service vehicle as required.
Driver must be able and willing to drive any bus type within the school district.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Attend training programs, meetings, and in-service days as required by the District or the state.
Report all accidents/incidents immediately to transportation management or appropriate authorities.
Maintain student conduct that ensures the safety of all students.
Transport and/or assist with monitoring all School District studentridership including special education students with moderate to severe needs and challenging or emotional difficulties on school buses.
Commercial Drivers License - Colorado, First Aid/CPR Certification - Colorado
