Douglas County School District seeks a Driver - Non CDL - Transportation to transport students to and from schools and district events in 14-passenger or smaller vehicles. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and positive role modeling with community relations and punctuality.
The position requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, a Colorado driver’s license, the ability to pass a drug screen, and the physical capability to perform listed tasks.
Responsible for the transportation of students to and from schools and various other District activities in vehicles with a capacity of 14 passengers or less. This position is a driving position that does not require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school. Is a positive role model by modeling desirable behaviors—e.g. good attendance, patience, tolerance, and safe driving skills.
Must be at least 21 years old.
REQUIRED: Initial drug screen upon hire; participation in a random drug and alcohol screening program.

Transport and/or assist with monitoring all School District student ridership including special education students with moderate to severe needs and challenging or emotional difficulties on school buses.
