Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Load, transport, and deliver materials to customer sites, ensuring safety and accuracy.
2. Secure products inside the delivery vehicle and unload at delivery sites, protecting products and property.
3. Use a hand-held device to ensure compliance with DVIR and HOS regulations, except while driving.
4. Verify order details, maintain delivery logs, and check items against invoices for accuracy.
5. Act as a customer service liaison, handling concerns and resolving issues.
6. Maintain service logs and perform pre/post trip inspections.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 21+ years of age with a valid driver's license.
• Previous delivery experience preferred, especially with building materials and delivery equipment.
• Ability to pass MVR report and obtain a DOT medical card.
• Forklift certification.

Skills and Physical Requirements

• Knowledge of safety procedures for driving and material handling.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to read maps, routes, and road signs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Work Environment & Physical Activity

• Work in environments with temperature variations, chemicals, noise, and dust.
• Lift up to 100 pounds frequently; with assistance, up to 200 pounds.
• Operate crane equipment and perform physical tasks as required.
