Job summary

First Student in Town of New Castle, NY is seeking a School Bus Driver to join our team and help transport students safely to and from school. You will drive a school bus, assist with boarding and exiting, and follow schedules with the support of our technology and safety programs.

No prior driving experience is required; we provide paid CDL training, hours guarantee, and opportunities for additional charter routes.

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills.
• At least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Be subject to a drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus and transport students to and from school.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any concerns.
• Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus and ensure student safety.
