Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Driver (DOT-No CDL) at our Modesto distribution center. You will operate a safe, late-model straight truck, deliver to branches and on-site locations, unload at each stop, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

This is a full-time, on-site role with routes averaging 10-12 stops. We emphasize safety and teamwork, requiring you to meet DOT requirements, pass drug/alcohol screening, and uphold our core values.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or over.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Possess a current valid Driver's License in good standing.
• Possess a current health card OR have the ability to obtain one.
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements.
• Possess strong working knowledge of the DOT regulations in regards to a DOT-No CDL Driver.
• Maintain DOT regulated Driver Hours-of-Service.
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork.
• Lift up to 60 lbs. and maneuver up to 150 lbs.
• Successfully complete the required DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification and background check.

Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 10:00pm - 10:00am

OVERVIEW

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team oriented individuals be on our transportation team! Working as a Full-time Driver (DOT-No CDL), you will be representing the Fastenal fleet as it delivers from its Fastenal Distribution Centers to its branches and customer on-site locations. You will operate a safe, well-maintained and late model straight truck. Delivery trucks are pre-loaded, in order of delivery, prior to departure, and you will be responsible for unloading the freight at each stop along your route; most routes average 10-12 stops. We offer established routes that may see periodic change based off needs of the company. REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or over, due to the nature of work
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Possess a current valid Driver's License in good standing
• Possess a current health card OR have the ability to obtain one
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements
• Possess strong working knowledge of the DOT regulations in regards to a DOT-No CDL Driver
• Maintain DOT regulated Drivers Hours-of-Service

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this position is $42,000 - 59,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
