As a navigator, you will support drivers at the Chick‑fil‑A Supply Distribution Center in Elsmere, KY, ensuring excellent delivery service to restaurants. You report to the transportation supervisor and collaborate with the transportation team to provide drivers with up‑to‑date routes, schedules, and instructions.

Responsibilities
- Complete pre‑trip checklist and prepare equipment for safe, efficient use
- Plan routes to confirm optimal route and road conditions
- Communicate route plan and exceptions to drivers
- Assist drivers with unloading product at restaurants in an accurate, organized manner
- Maintain food safety protocols, temperature integrity, and damage prevention
- Notify of potential service interruptions to the DC
- Execute “Remarkable Recovery” for mistakes
- Secure all product and equipment on trailer for transit
- Organize and maintain control of all shipping documents throughout each delivery route
- Assist drivers with collection of all equipment or product returns from restaurants
- Lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally move up to 1,500 pounds with mechanical assistance
- Work in all weather conditions and a multi‑temperature environment including freezer
- Prepare for flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts
- Communicate effectively across stakeholders including restaurant operators and distribution center staff
- Adapt to change and respond to difficult situations professionally
- Prioritize tasks and workload effectively under pressure
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Self‑starter with excellent project management and organization skills
- Strong interpersonal skills; team player who can work independently when necessary
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable with basic smartphone and tablet systems
- Detail‑oriented problem solver and communicative (written and verbal)
- Able to anticipate needs, lead multiple projects, and manage shifting priorities
- Travel 5% of the job for market visits and related conferences
- Quick & versatile learner open to change; analyzes successes and failures for improvement
