Job summary

A local moving company in Beaumont, TX, is seeking dedicated team members for positions requiring strong customer service skills. As part of the team, you will safely move, pack, and transport customer belongings, ensuring quality and safety throughout the process. Ideal candidates will possess a positive attitude and some prior experience in labor positions. Various scheduling options, including full-time and part-time, are available along with opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in general labor positions such as truck driving, construction, landscaping, or warehouse labor is helpful.
• Ability to lift/carry 100 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the day.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and random drug screens.

What You'll Do

You and your team will…

• Work together to provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack, and unpack customer belongings
• Greet customers upon arrival and complete a walk-through of the home/business
• Load and unload a 26-foot moving truck
• Complete paperwork and payment collection
• Safely operate the truck and perform daily truck inspections and moving equipment inventory checks

Who We're Looking For

We hire for attitude and train for skill; however, experience in general labor positions such as truck driving, construction, landscaping, or warehouse labor is helpful.

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years or older for movers; 21 years or older for drivers due to insurance restrictions
• Ability to communicate professionally, verbally, and in writing, in English
• Good work ethic and a positive, professional attitude
• Physical stamina to lift/carry 100 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the day
• Willing to submit to pre-employment background check and random drug screens
