Olympia in Belmont, MA is seeking a driver/mover for a full-time role with a flexible schedule (day, night, weekend). Hourly pay ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 with tips and overtime, and annual potential of $55,000–$75,000 including overtime, bonuses, and a sign-on bonus of $1,800.

Uniforms are provided and health/dental plans are offered. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, moving, disassembling/reassembling furniture, packing fragile items, and ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and DOT card.
• Clean driving record.
• Knowledge of local roads and neighborhoods.
• Experience driving 26 ft box truck and completing logs/inspections.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation to branch location.

• Ability to lift 50–75+ pounds and be on your feet 6–10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Move and disassemble/reassemble furniture and appliances.
• Load and unload large items to/from trucks and safely load shipments.
• Pack smaller items into boxes with care for fragile goods.
• Unpack items and arrange spaces according to customer specs.
• Maintain vehicle equipment; fuel, inspections, and basic maintenance.
• Follow all safety regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Valid driver's License (for driver position) and DOT Card (if applicable)
• Clean motor vehicle driving record
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Ability and prior experience driving 26 ft box truck-complete logs and inspections
• Must be able to complete all training and requirements to qualify as Olympia driver
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have reliable transportation to branch location for on time arrival
• Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
• Must have authorization to work in the United States for any employer
• Must be willing to undergo a criminal background investigation
• Above average energy, attention to detail, and organization skills
• Ability to lift 50-75+ pounds regularly
• Ability to be on your feet 6 to 10 hours a day
• Must be a team player and ready to tackle any challenge
• Available for on-time very early a.m. dispatch-(ie: 4:30 a.m. starts) and able to arrive on time
• High school or GED equivalent
