Job summary

Winebow is seeking a part-time Route Delivery/Merchandiser in Kent, WA. The role involves delivering and merchandising wine and spirits to accounts on a fixed route, using a company van, and coordinating with managers to hit sales goals.

You will arrange products on shelves for visibility, rotate stock, and monitor market penetration through monthly reports. A valid driver’s license and 21+ age are required.

Qualifications

• Valid, unexpired Driver’s License.

• Chain retail merchandising experience preferred.

In addition to those factors, we consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Delivers and merchandises Wine and Spirits to accounts as needed Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, on a designated route, using company supplied van.Communicating with District Manager, Sales Representative and operations team to ensure all accounts are serviced in an efficient manner and sales goals are achieved.Arranges products on shelves or displays for optimal visibility at customer accounts. Ensures proper merchandising according to standardized procedures, rotates stock as needed, and verifies that pricing and point-of-sale materials are displayed accurately.Works with Management to monitor sales growth and market penetration with the use of monthly reporting tools.Ability to work with internal departments, such as, the accounting department or customer service. Ability to communicate effectively to resolve any billing issues, ordering, or shipping needs within their designated territory.Provides pictures of display, cold box, or shelf reset executions upon request of Management or other internal departments.Ability to effectively communicate with management regarding any specific customer requests.Keeps accurate daily and weekly logs of accounts visited to provide to management.Meets agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.Arrives at work, appointments, meetings, and all work-related functions on time and as scheduled.OTHER FUNCTIONS:Follow all safety policies and procedures; communicate hazards and/or suggest improvements to Manager.Other duties as assigned.WORKING CONDITIONS:20 hours per week, Tuesday, Wednesday, ThursdayField delivery and merchandising, significant travel by company supplied Van.EQUIPMENT/MACHINERY USED:Van, Automobile, hand truck, telephone, copier, computer (or tablet),PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting to 45lbs, bending, sitting, carrying, standing, manual dexterity, reaching, visual acuity, drivingMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Goal oriented, self-motivate and positive team playerHigh School degree or GED.Valid, unexpired Driver’s License.Pass required pre-employment drug and background screeningProof of eligibility to work in the United States and be able to successfully complete required I-9 form.Chain retail merchandising experience preferred.Wine knowledge preferred.Demonstrated computer knowledge.Demonstrated effective written and oral communication skills.Must be 21 Years of AgeEMPLOYERS RIGHTS:This job description does not list all the duties of the job.
