Job summary

Buddy Moore Trucking in Florida is seeking a Driver Manager to oversee the daily activity of our driver personnel. You will coordinate ETAs, assign work with McLeod, and direct drivers to territories while upholding company policies and safety standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of dispatch or fleet management experience, proficiency with truck dispatch software, and strong communication skills. This is a salary position with potential for advancement.

Qualifications

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
1–3 years of dispatch or fleet management experience.
Proficient with truck dispatch software and Microsoft Office.
Excellent written and oral communication; detail oriented with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Communicate ETAs with load planners.
Utilize McLeod to assign work to drivers across the southeast.
Direct daily activities of drivers to territories or dedicated operations.
Provide guidance on complying with local, state and federal trucking statutes.
Ensure drivers are safe, productive and deliver on time.
Counsel drivers and assist with over-the-road issues.
Help keep driver documents up to date (license renewals, random drug tests, physicals).
