Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a Lumber Truck Driver for our Quincy, CA trucking division. The role offers an hourly wage between $27.36 and $32.36, plus a bonus and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities include loading and transporting lumber, securing loads, tarp handling, and daily truck inspections.

Training and internal advancement are available. Qualified candidates will hold a Class A license with a current medical card, a clean DMV record, and at least one year of truck driving

• Must have Class A license, current medical card, clean DMV record and good work references.
• 1 year commercial truck driving experience

Responsibilities

• Drive lumber trucks in accordance with traffic laws
• Load and secure lumber loads and transport to destination
• Tarping of loads as needed
• Perform daily inspection of truck
• Learn and operate onboard computerized time and load info tracking
• Meet dispatch schedules on time
• Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner

The Position

Currently, we are seeking a qualified Lumber Truck Driver for our trucking division based in Quincy, California. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial truck driver, or a training opportunity with the qualifications below.

• Drive lumber trucks in accordance with traffic laws
• Load and secure lumber loads and transport to destination
• Tarping of loads as needed
• Perform daily inspection of truck
• Learn and operate onboard computerized time and load info tracking
• Meet dispatch schedules on time
