Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Line Haul Driver to accurately and promptly pickup backhauls between distribution centers in Fort Worth, TX. This role involves 4- or 5-day routes with no-touch freight, offering a pathway to a stable, full-time trucking career.

Average annual pay is around $65,000 with benefits on day one, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA options, and a company-paid life policy. 401(k) with company match and paid holidays are provided.

The Line Haul Driver handles the accurate and timely pickup of backhauls. They drive 4- or 5-day routes between McLane distribution centers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Operate a tractor trailer to convey products between McLane distribution centers -- bump the dock or drop & hook trailers.
• Inspect your vehicle for defects pre- and post-trip and submit inspection report.
• Maintain driver log (manual or PeopleNet) according to DOT regulations.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
