Job summary

Bannock County seeks a Driver License Technician to assist the public with driver's licenses, CDL, and Idaho ID cards. You will authenticate documents, set up testing, and provide friendly customer service in a busy county office.

You will verify Homeland Security and state guidelines, handle payments, maintain testing stations, and balance funds while delivering accurate records and referrals to other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six (6) months general office or customer service experience is required, or.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

Responsibilities

• Verify documents with Homeland Security guidelines and state regulations.
• Greet customers, answer questions, and process driver licenses and renewals.
• Administer state written tests and eye tests; set up and operate testing stations.
• Balance funds and handle payments; maintain and file records accurately.
• Maintain testing equipment and keep work area organized and compliant with policies.
