Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience which demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
Three (3) years of supervisory, driver training instructional, regulatory or related experience, including or supplemented by one (1) year of frequent public contact which involved explaining rules and regulations to others in determining their eligibility or non-eligibility for licenses, benefits or similar matters.
Possession of an appropriate valid driver’s license (Type 3), at the time of application.

Candidates must possess a good driving record, as evidenced by a certified traffic abstract with no moving violations within the past three (3) years, in order to be appointed to positions in this class; and must possess an appropriate valid driver’s license for at least three (3) years immediately preceding appointment.
Verification Requirement: At the time of interview, you must provide a current certified traffic abstract issued by the District Courts.
