As a Driver License Examiner Assistant with the Department of Transportation, you will help customers complete important licensing steps with confidence. This role allows you to support public safety while guiding individuals through key requirements. Your customer service skills will make a positive impact on every visitor who enters the center. This position provides customer service and licensing support for individuals seeking driver license services at a Driver License Center. The role focuses on helping applicants through identity checks, testing systems, and service requirements. As a Driver License Examiner Assistant, you will perform the following duties:

• Customer Assistance: Greet customers, review identification, and guide applicants through required forms
• Test Administration: Give standardized knowledge tests and conduct basic vision screenings
• Data Entry: Enter applicant information and test results into licensing software systems
• Service Guidance: Explain licensing requirements and answer questions about available services
• Documentation Review: Verify documents for REAL ID and other license or identification needs
• Work Area Organization: Maintain a clean, orderly and accessible workstation

Work Schedule and Additional Information

• Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly
• Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Overtime and travel when needed
• Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
